Review: Morning Glory is about an ambitious small town producer, named Becky Fuller, of a slightly corny morning show. She moves up to a major networks failing morning program that needs serious help. The choice of bringing in Harrison Fords character was a brilliant and cunning move. The chemistry between Diane Keaton an Harrison Ford is worth seeing this film for. They are the comic relief which get the biggest laughs.

Jeff Goldblum provided a good mix to the cast and helped give the film a more dynamic impact. His supporting role was not a major character but his performance was enjoyable and provided a good character to move the plot along.

There are some less than perfect aspects about the script. The main character Becky is a little too caffeinated. This is explained in the character development but could have been tweaked to a more believable character. Some of the plot mechanism

Review: This is a biopic about how King George VI, the father of Queen Elizabeth II, overcame his stuttering problem. Widely considered by all but his father unfit to be king, George is reluctantly thrust unto the throne and into the spotlight after his brother is forced to abdicate. Overshadowed on the global stage by powerful orators like Adolph Hitler and Benito Mussolini, the King relies on the help of a little known Australian speech therapist named Lionel Logue to find his voice and courageously lead his people into the most devastating war humanity has ever faced.

This is a powerful, hilarious and deeply moving story, told against the backdrop of a critical juncture in modern history, of the emergence of a deep friendship out of a professional relationship between two men who would otherwise never have socially interacted. The screenplay, written by David Seidler, is excellent. The dry Briti

Review: Despite what some may say, Love and Other Drugs was not like other romantic comedies I have seen except in the most general of senses, in that it was a romantic comedy. I had not seen one set in the environment of pharmaceutical sales or with a main character who had Parkinsons disease, a setting which is very interesting as there are a lot of things wrong with health care and the system today. It gives one something to chew on while watching the rest of the movie.

There is a lot to like about the relationship between Jamie and Maggie. They have a raw intensity and passion for each other that was a bit much for some viewers, but in my opinion it was there to show how connected they were both physically and mentally. I thought their banter and teasing nature was cute. Nobody got wounded or sulked when teased but just laughed and teased back. The initial attraction between them starte

Review: Ever since I heard about The Green Hornet, I expected a bad movie. It did not seem like it would work and boy was I wrong. I saw a screening of this recently, and walked in with zero expectations, and walked out having laughed throughout the movie and REALLY enjoyed the action and chemistry between Rogen and Jay Chou. Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg did a fantastic job crafting this script, which could have been truly horrible, into a fun ride.

The true star of the movie is Jay Chou, aka Kato. His accent was sometimes hard to interpret, but he was surprisingly funny, and Kato-vision, time slows when his heart starts pumping during fights, turned out pretty cool in 3D.

Thank goodness Nic Cage walked away from this, and Christoph Waltz came in as the bad guy, because Christoph inhabited the role better than Nic could have. I enjoy Nic Cage, but he would not of worked in this movie, and with tha

Review: I saw this movie when it was still in theaters

First, I want to say that I hate that I had to travel a bit to see this movie. I requested it in my movie theater on the online petition wwe put up but my theater was never given the chance. Second, the tickets in this theater were near $14, that is too much. The lack of theaters probably made it not sell as much

There is a trailer for "Knuckhead", the wwe film that involves wwe superstar Big Show. I really hope they don mess up with this movie but something tells me that they will. Now on to the movie

Fantastic acting! You would not expect this acting from a film that involves a wwe superstar. In his movie, 12 rounds John Cena showed that he improved from the marine, and this movie shows even future improvement. Anyways, the acting was fantastic from everybody, Luli, mike, cal, the mother, and even the coach.

I don

Review: This was the film I was most looking forward to during my one day excursion to Frightfest and it was everything I hoped for. Monsters takes place several years after a NASA space probe that has collected alien micro-organisms has crashed in Mexico, turning much of the country into a walled in no-go zone. New life forms have developed there, among them gigantic, tentacled creatures who have devastated much of the country. A photo journalist who reports on the crisis takes on the job to get the newspaper publishers daughter back to the US. After their tickets for the last ferry out get stolen, they have to make their way across the "infected" zone.

Many people will be expecting a Distric 9 or Cloverfield style sci-fi action film from the trailer, but this is more like Before Sunrise meets Godzilla, with the emphasis on the love story. The British director gave a Q&A after the screening and he said he was aim

Review: Just caught the premier of "Twelve" today and left the theater shocked. Having never read or heard of the book before now, i entered the cinema knowing two things; first that it was directed by Joel Schumacher an astounding filmmaker, and second that because it was accepted into Sundance, it must have some exceptional parts.

Needless to say, the film exceeded expectation and moved into the realm of surreal. Like every film at Sundance, the director said a few words before screening started. Now most people know Schumacher from his hits like, "Phantom of the Opera", "Phone Booth", or his flawed Batmans. However Ive been privileged to see his early work, which includes, "The Lost Boys", "Flatliners", and "8MM". Yet despite the high mark which his previous films set, "Twelve" pulls up to and even surpasses some.

Chace Crawford was an inspiration in the lead role an
