Review: Ive been reading the reviews and felt the need to clarify a few things in case you
e reading these reviews, debating whether or not to see this film.

It is not the worst horror film ever. People who say something like that obviously have not seen enough horror films to know the worst ones. By no means is this movie a revolutionary breakthrough that will reinvigorate the horror genre, but the film does a good job at making a decent exorcism movie documentary-style.

The video camera shaking is not that bad. Yes, it shakes, but thats the style of the movie. Get over it. If you don like that style at all and are always made sick by it, don see it.

To say the ending was ambiguous and left people missing the themes of the movie and therefore a bad choice is also a bit ridiculous. If you saw the movie Inception and still loved it despite the "ambiguous" feeling the film left

I loved the previous Resident Evil movie trilogy although many fans were disappointed by them because it wasn to close to the games and Alice is the main character who isn in any game. The filmmakers can please everyone when it comes to movies based on video games because if the movie is very similar to the game then people will say that "What is the point of the movie when it is just as same as the game?" but if it is very different then people will complain that it is not related to the game in any way, shape or form. Review: Before anybody reading this review goes to see "The American," let me give you some sincere advice. If you are expecting this to be another Jason Bourne or James Bond-style of movie with elaborate action sequences, tight pacing, and ear-throbbing music...you had better stay away, for you will be sorely disappointed. The advertising campaign and production photographs gives one the impression that George Clooney is taking on a role in a movie like Liam Neeson did in that marvelously powerful thriller "Taken" released in 2008. But that is not the case. "The American" is shot on a foreign location, features a lot of foreign dialect, and was made by a Dutch director with a mostly Italian cast. In other words, its not really an American action production. Its an Italian melodrama and a really fascinating one at that.

the titles cut through religious imagery, C.O.D. inspired soldiers, and Danny dyer having fun with fake blood all blended together with stills of bomb making and after effects made by a talented fringe fan who needs better kit.

we pause on a carefully chosen "simon carter of London watch" on the wrist of our blacked out protagonist William Blake (drawing in the poetry fans now, arn we). cut to b-rolls of 28 days later while Blake pulls himself together, beginning his search for characters to interact with and recover his memories of the night before and why was he running about with a gun.

"I need a new suit." Thats what I kept thinking during the movie "Inception" and again during "Takers." I like that Hollywood is dressing up their leading actors more often these days.
